I offer clients over 35 years' experience in aviation and aerospace, covering almost every aspect of the sector.

I have worked inside leasing companies and aerospace companies and advise airlines and service providers on almost every kind of legal problem for every type of aircraft. I remain fascinated by the industry and love meeting new airlines and investors around the world.

I have been fighting hard to help my clients survive the COVID crisis and was previously busy helping clients survive OEM failures. I actively advise clients on how to embrace disruption and emerge from the COVID crisis as a winner.

I am interested in the 'metal' and I love to help create deals.

I started my legal career at a leading aviation law firm - then the leading insured claim and product liability firm globally. From 1989 to 1991, I worked for the legendary GPA and from 1992 to 1995 worked for Richards Butler law firm in Hong Kong. I then joined British Aerospace (now BAE Systems) and became the legal lead of the Group's aircraft leasing and financing business, setting up Oasis Leasing in Abu Dhabi (now Waha Capital). Later, I led the Airbus Asset Management legal team in Toulouse.

Having worked in GPA, BAE and Airbus I am well connected across the global industry and I frequently moderate panels or make presentations at AfJ, Ishka, MTO Network, Royal Aeronautical Society and our own events.

I am well known for a friendly, no-nonsense, direct approach to business and my enthusiastic passion for the sector.
